Winter Reads - Adult Reading Program

Winter Reads 2018

The Perfect Time for Reading!

The holidays are over. The nights are long and cold. It's the perfect time to catch up on your reading!  Join us for Winter Reads, our annual adult reading program. All you have to do is read up a storm, keep track of what you read, and cross your fingers that your name will be drawn for a prize.

How can I participate?

  • Read or listen to one or many books in January and February.
  • Write a short review of each book you read.
  • Play our Bingo Winter Reading Challenge.
  • Wait for the February 1st and March 1st prize drawings.
At the Library:
Read or listen to one or many books, then fill out a drawing entry form for each one. Return these to your library for entry into the prize drawings. The more you read, the better your chances of winning!  If you'd like to write a review, create an account in Beanstack.

Online:
Participate online using Beanstack. Log each of the books you’ve read or listened to, and you’re eligible for the February 1st prize drawing, as well as the March 1st Grand Prize drawing at your library!  If you write book reviews, you can also win virtual badges for your efforts, and your reviews will be shared with other online Winter Reads participants. Click here to read reviews submitted by other Scott County readers!
