Transit Link (Dial a Ride) is a door to door bus service available to Scott County residents that is still operating. At this time there is availability on the buses and we will also do pick-ups and deliveries of food and goods, if available. We ask that you please cancel any non-essential trips, especially if you have underlying health conditions, like diabetes, asthma, or heart disease. Customers using the service should wash your hands before riding, cover coughs and sneezes, and stay home if you’re sick. If you need a ride, please call Customer Service at (952) 496 - 8341 Option 1 and we will do our best to accommodate your requested destination even on short notice.
Free Grocery & Goods Delivery for Customers
The Transit Link buses are accepting requests from existing customers that would like groceries and goods delivered to their home. Call SmartLink Customer Service to request this service: (952) 496 - 8341.
Existing Transit Link customers can now order groceries and household essentials online from a store that has online shopping and local pick up. TransitLink will pick your order up and deliver to your house.
- The service is free – no fares for delivery.
- Book same-day or in-advance, just like you book a ride for yourself.
- Receive your delivery within 60 minutes of the scheduled pickup time.
- Four-bag limit remains in effect.
- Pickups must be scheduled at a commercial location.
- Drivers will verify your photo ID at drop-off.

Our Volunteer driver program has been temporarily suspended until further notice.
Marschall Road Transit Station Pickup
Smartlink’s customer service window at the Marschall Road Transit Station has been closed with the closure of all Scott County buildings.
MVTA Status
MVTA is still operating. Visit www.mvta.com for the latest news on their operations. Schedules are changing so be sure to check often for updates.
Booking a Ride
It's very simple. Give our Customer Service agent a call Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM at 952-496-8341
Cancellations
If you need to cancel a ride, please call us at least 1 hour prior to the scheduled ride time to avoid a no show. A message can be left 24 hours a day.-

All fares are subject to change and may be affected by updates to the Metropolitan Council regional transit system, known as TransitLink.

Transit Office
The Marschall Road Transit Station will serve as the transit hub for Scott County and consists of 400 park and ride parking spots for commuter bus service.

SmartLink understands that riding the bus can be an overwhelming when potential riders are not familiar with bus service and how it operates. We are committed to teaching individuals of all ages and abilities to travel safely and independently using public transportation.

TransitLink Dial a Ride
Dial a Ride is a shared ride transit service available when you call for a reservation. All ride requests are subject to availability and it is recommended you call 2-3 days in advance. Reservations can be scheduled up to 7 days in advance. The bus offers door to door service and rates vary based on time of day.
