Curbside Pickup

Beginning January 1, 2023, Curbside Pickup services will no longer require an appointment. Simply put items on hold using either our Catalog & My Account site or our mobile app several days in advance. On the day of our pickup, call your library to let staff know when you will arrive. We will ask that you call us at least one hour in advance of your arrival so we may locate your materials and check them out to your library card. 

All Scott County Library locations offer Curbside Pickup appointments as a convenient and accessible option. In addition to your library holds, we can also print up to ten pages for free and bring them out to you. Read on to take advantage of this service. 

How It Works

1) Put items on hold

  • Use our Catalog or our mobile app "Scott Lib MN" (available on iOS or Android) to find and put items on hold.

  • Watch for email notifications to confirm your holds are ready. 
2) Book an appointment

3) Visit your library

  • Pull into the parking space reserved for Curbside Pickup and call the library to let them know you arrived.

Which items may I pick up?
You may pick up items that are on the Holds shelf and you’ve received a notification for. To see what's available, check your account

Do I need to make separate appointments for all the different things I’m picking up?
No, you may pick up all items that are available on your account in one appointment, including Print Jobs and Program Supplies. If printing, please select Print Job Pickup in a multi-type booking, so we may print your job in a timely fashion (see below). You also do not need to make multiple appointments for different items or family accounts.

Can you print something for me?
Yes, we offer curbside printing and pickup! We can print from either a link you provide or a file you upload to our booking form. Make sure to select Print Job Pickup from the Service menu on the appointment booking page. We will print up to 10 pages per customer. We will also provide a print job cover sheet for privacy. What happens if I can’t make my appointment? 
We will return your items to the Hold shelf. Holds expire 7 days after you are notified. You may also reschedule your appointment here.
