Occupational Health

  • Promotes a culture of health and wellness by creating an environment that supports employees optimal physical and mental health
  • Coordinates employee care to effectively manage illness and injury, prevent disability, and facilitate return-to-work programs
  • Communicates the direct and indirect consequences of injury and illness on worker productivity, employee engagement, and quality of life
  • Collaborates with employees, management, and the medical community to meet the health and safety needs of employees and the organization
  • Educates and coaches employees on identifying, reducing, and eliminating health and safety risks

Programs include:

  • Case management of ill and injured employees
  • Health and wellness initiatives and challenges
  • Onsite health clinics for employee consultation and education, including blood pressure monitoring, stress management, medication information, chronic disease management, and many other topics related to employee health
